# Pomodoro vs Orli

The clearest difference is ads: Orli at none against Pomodoro's shown. Orli also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Pomodoro's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Orli sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orli holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pomodoro ships an update monthly, Orli every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
