# Zen Flip Clock vs DailyBean

The clearest difference is ads: Zen Flip Clock at none against DailyBean's shown. DailyBean's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 72%) and ratings volume (71K vs 6.2K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zen Flip Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DailyBean sells 25 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DailyBean holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DailyBean has 71K ratings behind it against 6.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Zen Flip Clock's written reviews are positive against 86% of DailyBean's.

Zen Flip Clock ships an update every 2 weeks, DailyBean weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
