# FastMath vs Chess King

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chess King at every 3 weeks against FastMath's every 111 months. Chess King also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FastMath sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Chess King sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FastMath ships an update every 111 months, Chess King every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
