# SWD Camera vs MH Cam

The clearest difference is rating: MH Cam at 2.9 against SWD Camera's 2.4. SWD Camera's advantage is ratings volume (122 vs 14) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 11.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MH Cam holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SWD Camera has 122 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of SWD Camera's written reviews are positive against 14% of MH Cam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SWD Camera ships an update every 3 months, MH Cam every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
