# Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect vs Wallpapers live 4K Background

Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect and Wallpapers live 4K Background both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 52% of Wallpapers live 4K Background's written reviews are positive against 16% of Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect's. Wallpapers live 4K Background also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 234). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Wallpapers live 4K Background sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect has 12K ratings behind it against 234, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect's written reviews are positive against 52% of Wallpapers live 4K Background's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Depth Wallpaper & Live Effect ships an update every 2 months, Wallpapers live 4K Background every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
