# Brushout vs Ripd

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Brushout at 4.8K against Ripd's 2. Ripd's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brushout sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Ripd sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ripd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brushout has 4.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Brushout's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ripd's.
