# Yerba Mate vs Fujima

The clearest difference is ads: Fujima at none against Yerba Mate's shown. Fujima also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Yerba Mate's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (54 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fujima holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yerba Mate has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Yerba Mate ships an update every 6 weeks, Fujima every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
