# Churu Maker vs FilmLog

The clearest difference is rating: Churu Maker at 2.4 against FilmLog's 1.0. Churu Maker also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). FilmLog's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (24% vs 11%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FilmLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Churu Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Churu Maker holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Churu Maker has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Churu Maker's written reviews are positive against 24% of FilmLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Churu Maker ships an update every 4 months, FilmLog every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
