# SnapCalc vs QANDA

The clearest difference is rating: SnapCalc at 4.2 against QANDA's 3.5. SnapCalc also leads on ratings volume (41K vs 781) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.8). QANDA's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and review sentiment (33% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapCalc sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and QANDA sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnapCalc holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapCalc has 41K ratings behind it against 781, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of SnapCalc's written reviews are positive against 33% of QANDA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SnapCalc ships an update monthly, QANDA weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
