# IMDbPro vs AGI Entertainment Plus

The clearest difference is monetization model: AGI Entertainment Plus at free against IMDbPro's subscription. AGI Entertainment Plus also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). IMDbPro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 39 months) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AGI Entertainment Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IMDbPro has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IMDbPro ships an update every 2 weeks, AGI Entertainment Plus every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
