# SOS Plantão vs M

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SOS Plantão at 100% against M's 11%. M's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 1.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

M holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SOS Plantão's written reviews are positive against 11% of M's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
