# Sticker Maker vs Optika

The clearest difference is monetization model: Optika at free with in-app purchases against Sticker Maker's subscription. Optika also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (73% vs 58%). Sticker Maker's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1K vs 23). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticker Maker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Optika sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticker Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticker Maker has 1K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Sticker Maker's written reviews are positive against 73% of Optika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sticker Maker ships an update every 6 weeks, Optika every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
