# Write It! Korean vs Ludus

The clearest difference is ads: Ludus at none against Write It! Korean's shown. Ludus also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Write It! Korean's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 17) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Write It! Korean sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Ludus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ludus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Write It! Korean has 3.7K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Write It! Korean's written reviews are positive against 87% of Ludus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Write It! Korean ships an update every 3 weeks, Ludus every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
