# Quitch vs Wiley Reader

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wiley Reader at none against Quitch's 7. Wiley Reader also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). Quitch's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quitch sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Wiley Reader asks for nothing beyond the download.

Quitch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wiley Reader has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Quitch's written reviews are positive against 47% of Wiley Reader's.

Quitch ships an update fortnightly, Wiley Reader every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
