# MeloDeasy vs Dubnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dubnote at every 5 days against MeloDeasy's every 2 months. Dubnote also leads on ratings volume (163 vs 3) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). MeloDeasy's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeloDeasy sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Dubnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dubnote holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dubnote has 163 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of MeloDeasy's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dubnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MeloDeasy ships an update every 2 months, Dubnote every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
