# Find Your Face Shape vs FaceMap

The clearest difference is ads: FaceMap at none against Find Your Face Shape's shown. FaceMap also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 6 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). Find Your Face Shape's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 19). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find Your Face Shape sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and FaceMap sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FaceMap holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Your Face Shape has 1.3K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Find Your Face Shape ships an update every 6 months, FaceMap daily. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
