# NextOS(NextLearningPlatform) vs Franciscan e

The clearest difference is rating: NextOS(NextLearningPlatform) at 4.5 against Franciscan e's 4.2. NextOS(NextLearningPlatform) also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 61) and device support (3 vs 1). Franciscan e's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (35% vs 27%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NextOS(NextLearningPlatform) holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextOS(NextLearningPlatform) has 1.3K ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of NextOS(NextLearningPlatform)'s written reviews are positive against 35% of Franciscan e's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
