# iLUX Mesh vs Feit Electric

The clearest difference is rating: Feit Electric at 4.7 against iLUX Mesh's 2.3. Feit Electric also leads on ratings volume (273K vs 50) and chart position (#89 vs unranked). iLUX Mesh's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Feit Electric holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Feit Electric has 273K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of iLUX Mesh's written reviews are positive against 16% of Feit Electric's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iLUX Mesh ships an update every 3 weeks, Feit Electric every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
