# Tiger Player vs MX Player

The clearest difference is ads: Tiger Player at none against MX Player's shown. Tiger Player also leads on iOS requirement (11.2 vs 13.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiger Player sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MX Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
