# Complement app vs Cherry

The clearest difference is ads: Cherry at none against Complement app's shown. Cherry also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Complement app sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cherry sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Complement app holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1K and 683 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Complement app's written reviews are positive against 76% of Cherry's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Complement app ships an update every 5 weeks, Cherry every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
