# TrackEnsure ELD vs YOULOG ELD

The clearest difference is rating: YOULOG ELD at 4.0 against TrackEnsure ELD's 3.1. YOULOG ELD also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). TrackEnsure ELD's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 16 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YOULOG ELD holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrackEnsure ELD has 158 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of TrackEnsure ELD's written reviews are positive against 0% of YOULOG ELD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TrackEnsure ELD ships an update every 3 months, YOULOG ELD every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
