# TouchBeat Classic vs xuTry

The clearest difference is rating: xuTry at 5.0 against TouchBeat Classic's 2.0. xuTry also leads on ratings volume (3 vs 1). TouchBeat Classic's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 23 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

xuTry holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of TouchBeat Classic's written reviews are positive against 80% of xuTry's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TouchBeat Classic ships an update every 2 weeks, xuTry every 23 months. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
