# Greetly · Digital Receptionist vs Visitly

Greetly · Digital Receptionist and Visitly both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 98% of Greetly · Digital Receptionist's written reviews are positive against 50% of Visitly's. Greetly · Digital Receptionist also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). Visitly's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Visitly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Greetly · Digital Receptionist has 82 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 98% of Greetly · Digital Receptionist's written reviews are positive against 50% of Visitly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Greetly · Digital Receptionist ships an update every 6 weeks, Visitly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
