# Freedom vs Moosti

The clearest difference is rating: Moosti at 5.0 against Freedom's 4.4. Moosti also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and review sentiment (100% vs 64%). Freedom's advantage is ratings volume (5.9K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freedom sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Moosti sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moosti holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom has 5.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Freedom's written reviews are positive against 100% of Moosti's.

Freedom ships an update every 2 weeks, Moosti weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
