# Freedom vs Block All Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Freedom at 4.4 against Block All Widgets's 1.0. Freedom also leads on ratings volume (6K vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.1 vs 18.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freedom sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Block All Widgets sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Freedom holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom has 6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Freedom ships an update every 2 weeks, Block All Widgets every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
