# Freedom vs Crusaders Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Freedom at 4.4 against Crusaders Tracker's 1.0. Freedom also leads on ratings volume (6K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Crusaders Tracker's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freedom sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Crusaders Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Freedom holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom has 6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Freedom ships an update every 2 weeks, Crusaders Tracker every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
