# Freedom vs ORTganizer

The clearest difference is rating: ORTganizer at 5.0 against Freedom's 4.4. ORTganizer also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Freedom's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freedom sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and ORTganizer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ORTganizer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom has 6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Freedom ships an update every 2 weeks, ORTganizer every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
