# iXTool vs Note

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iXTool at none against Note's 4. iXTool also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). Note's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. iXTool asks for nothing beyond the download.

iXTool ships an update every 7 months, Note every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
