# Westek vs Monument grills

The clearest difference is rating: Westek at 4.6 against Monument grills's 3.8. Westek also leads on ratings volume (144 vs 4) and update cadence (every 7 months vs every 15 months). Monument grills's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Westek holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Westek has 144 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Westek's written reviews are positive against 50% of Monument grills's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Westek ships an update every 7 months, Monument grills every 15 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
