# Vlogit vs Clips

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Clips at 77% against Vlogit's 33%. Clips also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (5.1K vs 325). Vlogit's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vlogit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Clips sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clips holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clips has 5.1K ratings behind it against 325, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Vlogit's written reviews are positive against 77% of Clips's.

Vlogit ships an update every 3 weeks, Clips monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
