# Timely vs Time Calculator ×

The clearest difference is rating: Time Calculator × at 4.7 against Timely's 2.5. Time Calculator × also leads on ratings volume (288 vs 2). Timely's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Calculator × sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Timely asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time Calculator × holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Calculator × has 288 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Timely's written reviews are positive against 73% of Time Calculator ×'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timely ships an update monthly, Time Calculator × every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
