# QANDA vs Guide Pre

QANDA and Guide Pre both sit at 3.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Guide Pre's written reviews are positive against 33% of QANDA's. Guide Pre also leads on ads (none vs shown). QANDA's advantage is ratings volume (781 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QANDA sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Guide Pre sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guide Pre holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QANDA has 781 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of QANDA's written reviews are positive against 100% of Guide Pre's.

QANDA ships an update weekly, Guide Pre every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
