# Rain Drop vs Shark Bounce™

The clearest difference is rating: Rain Drop at 5.0 against Shark Bounce™'s 3.9. Shark Bounce™'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 75 months) and ratings volume (390 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rain Drop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shark Bounce™ has 390 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rain Drop ships an update every 75 months, Shark Bounce™ every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
