# BBBBurst vs Photo Timer Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Photo Timer Camera at 4.6 against BBBBurst's 2.8. Photo Timer Camera also leads on ratings volume (407 vs 4). BBBBurst's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BBBBurst sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Photo Timer Camera sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Photo Timer Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Photo Timer Camera has 407 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of BBBBurst's written reviews are positive against 78% of Photo Timer Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BBBBurst ships an update every 3 days, Photo Timer Camera every 11 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
