# Asap Calculus vs Formulary+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Formulary+ at every 2 months against Asap Calculus's every 4 months. Asap Calculus's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Asap Calculus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Formulary+ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Asap Calculus ships an update every 4 months, Formulary+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
