# Flow vs Palettable

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Palettable at 100% against Flow's 24%. Palettable also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). Flow's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Palettable asks for nothing beyond the download.

Palettable holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flow has 7.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Flow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Palettable's.
