# SharkClean vs Halo Collar

The clearest difference is rating: SharkClean at 4.8 against Halo Collar's 4.1. SharkClean also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (500K vs 9.5K). Halo Collar's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 49%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SharkClean holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SharkClean has 500K ratings behind it against 9.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of SharkClean's written reviews are positive against 70% of Halo Collar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SharkClean ships an update fortnightly, Halo Collar every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
