# Fire Safe vs Pro Certs

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fire Safe at free with in-app purchases against Pro Certs's subscription. Fire Safe also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). Pro Certs's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fire Safe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Pro Certs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fire Safe ships an update weekly, Pro Certs every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
