# 鲨鱼浏览器 vs Focus

The clearest difference is ads: Focus at none against 鲨鱼浏览器's shown. Focus also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 392). 鲨鱼浏览器's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 54%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 鲨鱼浏览器 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Focus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus has 4.9K ratings behind it against 392, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of 鲨鱼浏览器's written reviews are positive against 54% of Focus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

鲨鱼浏览器 ships an update monthly, Focus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
