# Small Talk vs Elocution+

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Small Talk at 466 against Elocution+'s 1. Elocution+'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Small Talk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Elocution+ sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elocution+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Small Talk has 466 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Small Talk ships an update every 4 months, Elocution+ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
