# Solitaire Palace vs Wordisc

The clearest difference is rating: Solitaire Palace at 4.3 against Wordisc's 1.0. Solitaire Palace also leads on ratings volume (75 vs 1). Wordisc's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire Palace sells 24 one-off in-app purchases and Wordisc sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solitaire Palace holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire Palace has 75 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Solitaire Palace ships an update monthly, Wordisc weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
