# Stream2 vs Pack Portal

The clearest difference is rating: Pack Portal at 3.2 against Stream2's 1.8. Stream2's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pack Portal holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stream2 has 42 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Stream2's written reviews are positive against 0% of Pack Portal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stream2 ships an update every 3 months, Pack Portal every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
