# AltaMail vs OfficeMail Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AltaMail at 91% against OfficeMail Pro's 44%. AltaMail also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.1) and ratings volume (373 vs 39). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AltaMail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and OfficeMail Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AltaMail holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AltaMail has 373 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of AltaMail's written reviews are positive against 44% of OfficeMail Pro's.

AltaMail ships an update every 3 weeks, OfficeMail Pro fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
