Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: SimpNote Lite at 72% against 虫虫钢琴简谱's 22%. SimpNote Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (74 vs 1). 虫虫钢琴简谱's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. SimpNote Lite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 虫虫钢琴简谱 sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
虫虫钢琴简谱 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimpNote Lite has 74 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of SimpNote Lite's written reviews are positive against 22% of 虫虫钢琴简谱's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SimpNote Lite ships an update every 6 weeks, 虫虫钢琴简谱 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
