# SimpNote vs 简谱作曲家

The clearest difference is rating: SimpNote at 4.4 against 简谱作曲家's 3.7. SimpNote also leads on ratings volume (74 vs 3) and review sentiment (72% vs 64%). 简谱作曲家's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 简谱作曲家 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
