# BibliMags vs DS

The clearest difference is ads: BibliMags at none against DS's shown. BibliMags also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BibliMags ships an update every 2 months, DS every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
