# Augmented Reality Map vs NAV

The clearest difference is rating: NAV at 5.0 against Augmented Reality Map's 4.0. NAV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Augmented Reality Map's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Augmented Reality Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NAV asks for nothing beyond the download.

NAV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NAV has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
