# Lugatım vs Risale

The clearest difference is rating: Lugatım at 5.0 against Risale's 4.3. Risale's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 41 months) and review sentiment (78% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lugatım holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Lugatım's written reviews are positive against 78% of Risale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lugatım ships an update every 41 months, Risale every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
