# Hopeway vs Security Camera for Home

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hopeway at none against Security Camera for Home's 5. Hopeway also leads on review sentiment (41% vs 20%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). Security Camera for Home's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.3 vs 3.9). Security Camera for Home holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Camera for Home has 2.6K ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Hopeway's written reviews are positive against 20% of Security Camera for Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
