# Help Annie vs Timeline

The clearest difference is ads: Timeline at none against Help Annie's shown. Timeline also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). Help Annie's advantage is ratings volume (344 vs 52) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Help Annie sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Timeline sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timeline holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Help Annie has 344 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Help Annie's written reviews are positive against 82% of Timeline's.

Help Annie ships an update every 6 weeks, Timeline every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
